What is TeslaFormer?

Tesla Former is a medical and aesthetic device that uses Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) to stimulate muscles non-invasively. It’s a high-intensity, FDA-cleared technology often used for body sculpting, core strengthening, pelvic floor therapy, and rehabilitation. The term “Tesla” in its name refers to the unit of magnetic field strength.

How Does it work?

Tesla Former works using high-intensity electromagnetic fields that penetrate the body tissue and stimulate deep muscle contractions. Here’s how it works step-by-step:

  • Magnetic Stimulation: The device produces magnetic pulses measured in Tesla units (usually around 3 Tesla). These pulses safely pass through skin and fat layers without discomfort.

  • Deep Muscle Activation: The magnetic field induces electric currents in motor neurons, triggering involuntary supramaximal muscle contractions — much stronger than voluntary ones achieved through regular exercise.

  • Muscle Strengthening: Repeated contractions over several sessions strengthen muscles, improve tone, and even stimulate metabolic activity in the targeted area.

How many sessions do I need?

Do I still need to go to the gym?
